-=> Quoting Bob Blount to Wade Ward <=-
WW>Thanks for the reply. I've got a brother in K.C. (a musician, no
WW>less).
BB> Ted Ward?
His name is Bart -- hot lead guitarist doing alternative rock. Writes quite
a bit of his own stuff. Think he's bettween bands now.
WW>Do you remember Superior Sound or S.E.C.T.?
BB> Remember 'em? Yep, I sure do....I remember cussing both of 'em out

I managed the Wichita Superior Sound store. I remember some real
characters in the KC store -- but all musicians and sound techs are
little detached, aren't they? SECT is probably still around, but I
think Superior went belly up quite some time ago.
Our claim to fame was the Hot Spot monitor, manufactured by the
same people who owned our store, Galaxy Audio, in a little sweatshop
in Wichita. We also made a low-end ine of mixers and some really
honky monitor cabinets.
I enjoyed that business, but there wasn't much money in it.
Wade
