About a year ago I made the decision that in order to write a book worthy of
the Crosman model 160 that it would be first necessary to make a trip
(pilgrimage?) 
back to New York.   As a result of that trip, and new progresive ownership,
Crosman Corp. has graciously made available many of their archived files and
photographs for historical publication.  The combination of the Crosman
archives and the materials that I have been independently acquiring for the
last 15 years tell a compelling story about the premier American airgun 
ker.
