It would depend on how the VM is implemented. If the VM has no access to
the RM (real machine) then sure but soon as you start allowing a vm to
interact with the file system or control printers and other devices or cut
and paste via a global clipboard, game over. So unless you want the VM to
also have a virtual disk and be totally isolated from the rest of the
system, no that's not going to be sufficient.
