Sorry, but I don't understand this. Trees grow like everything elase, and big
trees are certainly no smaller than saplings.

Doesn't that assume that the amounts of oxygen and carbon dioxide are
completely equal? And wouldn't it have to assume some kind of "median" lifespan
for trees?
I would have trouble believeing those assumptions.
