about "information":

JP> And I am still looking. At least, I got some info on it now. I

Well, June isn't that far away. Temperature-wise, it feels like it's
right next door! :-) But, we get antsy waiting for our upgrades, then
when we get 'em, we gat antsy for a local modem to tie into. I'm
V.90'ed right now, but guess which protocol my local Juno number is
running? Would'ja believe, x2? :-)
JP> Not a panic yet as nobody here is over 28k8, I mean AOL in
JP> Montreal. And my PCMCIA is at x2 already.
MichNet is upgrading modem pools all over the place. Haven't upgraded
the Flint pool yet, though, but I've been assured that it *will* get
done, as soon as GDC sends them the software for it.
JP> Still typing at you on the 128 @ 26k4. The modem is a v.34+.
Hey, it beats a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, anyway. :-)
JP> Pool is ready here now, we are getting 80 F these days.
I've been running the a/c for quite a few days, here. The temps outside
aren't bad, but living in an apartment, on the *east* side of the
building, I'm not getting any breezes. Daytime temps have been in the
80s.
