Yeah, it will let you save the text. I'm not sure if this is true when
using the internal editor.

Basically the problem is timEd calls MsgOpenArea far too early...

Looks like you missed my original message:

Hi All,

I've set up a CVS server to hold the timEd source code repository. As of
writing this message, the source is identical to the 1.11.a4 source code
release. You can access the CVS server anonmously using:

#!/bin/sh
cvs -r -z3 -d:pserver:anoncvs{at}blizzard.dnsalias.org:/cvsroot co timed

If you'd like write access to the repository please send e-mail or crash
netmail with the username + password you wish to use.

Note that you can still send me source code patches even if you don't
have/want write access to the CVS (in many ways, I'd prefer you did this
because it allows me to confirm your source changes are correct and I can
personally sort out any possible conflicts).

The above also applies to the documentation (if anyone wants to make changes).

Regards
Andrew

PS. Contact me privately if you'd like a crash course on how to use CVS, or
hear about my tales of woe setting up a CVS server!
