Take web sites that need to do anything more than serve up static pages
such as webmail, etc.  Turn off activeX and Scripting and POOF, 90% of
those web sites' usability vanishes.

   Some of the automatic ActiveX stuff has been eliminated on IE7.  I saw
someone grousing about how their ActiveX control from Microsoft won't work
on IE7.   But I'm certain some of it is still there waiting for an exploit.
