Us drummers know nothing about that, except how good the French horn cuties
look doin' it. (Remember: Proximity to the percussion section weighs
heavily on our sight line.)

I was a student too, so I let the class sus (SP?) its own level before I opened
my mouth. (Rocking the boat? |-) If someone from there one day lops a finger
tip off, and still thinks running nd screaming is the preferred first step, I
just hope I'm there with a video camera. (Yes, if they hit a gusher, I'd
drop the camera and donate my belt to the cause.) In retrospect, if other
participants gather a few techniques, that would make my work complete. I was
thinking at the time, that this boisterous gal wanted to discredit what she
couldn't understand, and wanted the comfort in communal ignorance.

AH> Makes sense to me... I test salespeople by asking questions

Gracie and Alan? As my understanding of medicine is always lacking, I still
have to rely on blind faith. I do however like to play dumb to see if an
"expert" is trying to baffle me.

AH> to remain open to such possibilities. :-)

The option to that is baffling. "Head in the sand" seems to work for some
though, just don't expect me to explain it. Like when a person professes to
know *nothing* about computers, they all seem to know how to plug them into the
wall and find the power switch. I too have to realize my limits. When a
specialist was explaining the bursas to me and once the Latin started flying, I
had to stop her with, "Too much information." My grey matter
glass was full,
and my concentration had to be diverted to how I was going to pilot my vehicle
home after the ROM. I consider myself a curious guy, but I reluctantly had to
concede my learning curve had to slope *very* slowly post op.

AH> Once again... I understand, but I can't offer any
 AH> solutions.

 JB> You're in good company!

 AH> I think so. And that's important too.... ;-)

That beats every dissertation on The Meaning Of Life I have heard to date. Now,
if I hear a wopper, I'll be the first to post it here, but don't hold your
breath.
