It takes some 15% of my course content spread over two years. It is written
into my Work Program.
Further, all my students work has to be presented to a board of my peers at
the end of the year, to ensure that I have examined them at a sufficient
level of difficulty.
My Work Program is based on the syllabus document written by the Education
Department. The Work Program must be approved by the Ed Dept before it can be
implemented.
The Board has teacher representatives on it and we (computer teachers),
generally have a good rapport with our Board. Board members are present on
the listserv that computer teachers use in the State of Queensland.
If anyone would like a copy of my Work Progam or our syllabus document AND
has an email address, please write to me at ipcjohn@ipc.qld.edu.au and I will
send you zipped copies. They will be in Word6 for Windows format.
