Yes, you can strip out the attachments and I'm glad you mentioned it. It's
not the email text that's a problem, we get a lot of CAD files, images,
etc. through the mail system and those are the bad boys.  Some folks get
rid of the attachments and some want to keep every piece of correspondence
intact so when a client calls up cursing and screaming they can have easy
access to the file(s).
