->  It's the only RS handheld that comes with a
-> NiCd battery & AC adaptor/charger.  The DC adaptor/charger is
-> $6.99, & is a regular stock item.
The RS model comes with the wall charger/power device, and one battery
pack.  The Uniden version comes with 2 battery packs, the wall charger,
AND another device, that the wall charger plugs into, and THAT device
plugs into the scanner. The extra device holds the extra battery pack,
so that both charge at the same time. Very unusual, AND very needed by
some people!
The extra battery pack is $35 at RS, and I've heard they aren't carrying
the 'extra' charger.  All in all, TOO expensive, and the RS policy on
stripping accessories is still bad business.
