| subject: | ADD in OS/2 SMP |
Moin all! I did an .ADD a long time ago which is quite stable and runs on all systems with OS/2 2.0 to 2.3. Recently I got a copy of OS/2 for SMP 2.1 and tested it: no probs. But my machine had only a single Pentium! I understand that I should use spinlocks on OS/2 SMP but that would require either a second version or a selfconfiguring driver. Is there a chance that OS/2 detects that my driver may only run on a single processor (unknown flag in driver attribute, etc.) or should I change my code?
