i didn't use that and don't really like it at all... it was put there by my
(new) BBS software... all the same information is in the header already so i
just don't see any need for it to be put into the message body, too... plus it
should be trimmed out in replies anyway as per nettiquette ;)

that depends on the news server you are using to read... JAMNNTPd systems can
do this but i'm not sure about others... news just simply doesn't have the same
capabilities that pure FTN has and there is definitely some loss of
information...
