And a feel for the opponent's "style".
Kasparov could get a feel for Deep Blue's "style" in his first few games
that would (inevitably) advance his knowledge of it, because Deep Blue had no
published games Kasparov could previously have studied.
Deep Blue could not get any feel for Kasparov's "style" that couldn't
have been already programmed prior to the match.
I never expected any result but a Kasparov win.
