Can you tell me which libs caused those problems? I must admit that I've
nerver heard of e-smith before. :)

I see. However, if you have some HD-space to spare, you (or I) could try to
compile msged with the problematic libs statically linked.

Sorry, I don't use JAM myself, so I cannot tell much about that point...
