Hello All,
I never realized this a video echo.  I am 15 years old in second year at 
Highschool.  My school offers a  communications studio with, for a highschool 
some reall nice equipement;
A few editing suiets, 3 Panasonic Studio style Cameras, a 7 Input Switcher, 
blue chromake floors and walls etc,
anyways.
My question is; to get into a filming, or switching field what schooling is 
required, is this a growing industry is it worth getting into? I sure do 
enjoy It.

industrial video production for in excess of 25 years.  I'm currently
managing a video production department for a large manufacturing

To answer your question, yes you are on the right path.  Consider yourself
lucky to have a high school as well eqqipped as yours.  I was not so
lucky.  When you are ready you should go to college but pick a college
or university that has a good reputation in Mass Communications.
You can earn a BA or MBA in this field of communications in radio and TV.
I have a BA in this.  It is required if you want to get a good job in
either broadcasting, cable TV or industrial communications.
 
The field is growing by leaps and bounds as we speak,  there will be many
opportunities for you by the time you finish college.  As TV grows they
are adding more and more channels to satalite systems and corporations
are all using video and electronic communications.
 
Get as much hands on experience as you can.  Practice shooting with a
video camera and get real good at editing video programs.  If you do
there will always be a job for you.
