As Pat Knox was saying to Wendy Apgar:
PK> I am afraid that Robin Payton still is. Since she is no longer
PK> on ANY of the echos, and it doesn't seem that many of the secret
PK> pals are following through, what would everyone think about stopping
PK> this exchange and getting someone else to reorganize it and start over
PK> at the end of the year? My secret pal has been great all the way
PK> through, I am running behind a bit. Mainly my problem is that I never
PK> seem to have a vehicle on the days that I need one!
Personally I think we should continue on with what we have.
Especially since I have planned ahead and already have
several months in advance of this one for the likes of my
secret pal, including her birthday present!
And my scret pal has said she is going to do better. So
 I vote to continue!
PK> So, what does everyone on this echo think? Should we end it now or
PK> continue? I know that some people in the exchange quit receiving from
PK> their secret pal ages ago and have now gotten so disgusted that they
PK> aren't sending any longer. That hurts their pals who might also get
PK> disgusted and quit sending to their pals. So more and more will be
PK> effected by this. I say that we cut our losses and stop. (To my pal,
PK> if you even know who I send to, I will have another package out to you
 PK> very soon).
Why not take a look and see who isn't receiving from their
secret pals. Then have someone, such as you, or even I
would be willing to do it if you wish....to reassign secret
pals for those who want to participate. That way those of
us who are still giving and receiving can continue and those
who are not can have someone else have their name that
 is interested in going on.
