I bought a dell server (very low-end) last spring, without os, and
installed W2k3 server on it from a cd supplied to me by microsoft, and did
not have to even open the dell supplied cd's or download anything from dell
- seems to be very much standard hw in that one at least. It's nicely
built, the side pops open with one hand and everything inside is very
easily accessible if need be, and it's very very quiet, much quieter than
the tinnitus in my ears
;-)
