G'day Dieter,

Replying to a message of Dieter Mirbach to Jeff Green on 17-10-96:

DM>>> downloading a 2.5meg file. (Adobe Acrobat Reader for

JG>>> I got to 97% of that before the connection died :-(

DM> Must have had an OS/2 detection cookie - and throw you off to
DM> skew the numbers in MS's favour.

Yeah. Bloody M$ is influencing everything! It's a bit like "Big
Brother" from "1984".

 DM>> I could upload to TML ...

JG>> Thanks, but don't bother. The docs I wanted to look at have
JG>> disappeared. I guess I deleted them one day out of boredom. Oh well.

 DM> Email perhaps ??

No. If I need it I'll either go and grab it or hassle you for a copy, but
at the moment I have no need for it. I can't even remember what those docs
were that I was going to read so I can't get another copy of them :-)
