There's a distant ringing of bells, but I haven't been able to place it yet.
For some reason, I'm associating it with a story about reverse entropy;
it may come from that story, or it may be another one in the collection.
I can't place that one either--I know it's called "The
Effect" by a fairly well-known author. The concept is that the more you
use something, the "better" it gets. That's really helpful, isn't it?
("I'm looking for a song by somebody about something; it has a tune and
