Not to mention, I'm pretty sure it violates the Constitution.
Article IV, section 1 - the "full faith & credit" clause.
Checking the annotations of findlaw, it seems that several cases involved
divorce, probate, garnishment, etc, so I'd presume that marriage would be
covered as well.
