I've been writing my own VESA library lately, but there are still a few
problems.
 
1  I would like to put ascii text on the screen when I'm in graphical modes.
   Where can I find the images of  the characters ?
 
2  Does anyone have routines to decode gif and/or jpegs (or anything else
than
   BMP)
