So it seems, probably an ASIC, but thanks. I know it's basically an analog
matrix Encoder (18 lines IN), though a clocked digital output stream isn't of
much use (unless I could easily convert it to parallel (fancy ADC?). Something
for a rainy day breadboard project, I suppose.
