Ought to have something to do with the lakes.
We see a big difference in the size of the snowflakes when the wind comes
from the east and that the biggest lake here is frozen or not.
When there is no ice on the lake the flakes are small and wet and if the lake
is frozen the flakes are big as lavatory lids.
