subject: Re: Supported USB floppy for F6 XP storage driver install?

From: "Rich Gauszka"

The XP F6 only asked for a floppy. I found instructions for creating a
slipstreamed install CD with SATA drivers but that was more work than I
wanted to do at the time. I just never knew that Microsoft limited the F6
USB floppy drives to a select few. The strange part was that when using the
F6 option the install needs to read the drivers off the floppy twice and
with an 'unapproved' floppy the install manages the first read but can't
find the drive on the second read
