  You are not wrong, Dorothy.  We aren't in COBOL anymore.  (-:

  FWIW, C++ really clicked for me (i.e. I started using it as a language
  in its own right, instead of as a type-safe enhanced C) when I learned
  Visual BASIC, and all about properties and methods.
