subject: Ear Candling

SD> TM> As for ear-candling, the hot wax can burn the skin if you spill
SD> TM> in on it and the flame can set the hair on fire. Dowsing with a
SD> TM> dowsing rod would seem a lot safer and is probabaly equally
SD> TM> effective.
SD>What's a dowsing rod?
IT's a forked stick used to find water under the ground by those who
advise well diggers. What Ty is saying here is that this makes about as
much sense to him as the ear-candling does.....none. There are,
incidently, much safer methods of getting the same amount of heat to the
ear if you insist upon this. One is a hot water bottle, wrapped in a
towel, the other is a heating pad turned on low or medium.
> TM> Have you investigated whay is causing them to swell shut ?
SD>Yep. Cow's milk causes ear infections with him, but even though I stopped
SD>the consumption, fluid remained.
Then there are some other food allergies which you have not stopped
giving the child. There are many books available on this subject in
both libraries and bookstores which you can find and browse through. He
can also have a blood test which will pick up some of them, but not all
of the food allergies.
The best solution is to look for material on the Rotation Diet.....the
theory being if you alternate the common foods that most folks are
allergic to, there will not be any problems with them.
And there are several books on that also.
If a child is allergic to milk, he will also be allergic to a certain
kind of insulation used in homes that has formeldehyde in it. Breathing
the fumes will make any physical condition worse.
If your child is also a heavy sugar and sweets eater this is an
indication that his diet lacks the amino acids his system needs.
All of this and more is the first step towards figuring out for yourself
what you can do to elimiate the fluid problem and much of it is not
known to all doctors.
Good luck.
