Hello Gerrit.

07 Feb 03 10:17, you wrote to me:

Cannot tell you which libs caused the problems, sorry, cannot replicate
either as I have recently removed all un-needed bits to gain much needed HDD
space.

e-smith, now called Mitel? is a heavily scripted RedHat system, that results
in an easy to setup and qyuick to use internet server and gateway system, but
if you modify or add to it, you risk all you configs of the stuff you added,
unless your are good at perl and other scripting and e-smith-ify you changes.

Hmm ... just copied Msged 6.0.0, smapi-2.0.0,huskybse-0.2.0 and
fidoconf-0.1.0c, and it compiled fine, tho, with my prior attempts,
smapi-1.6.4 and other husky utils where installed, and a few other programs.

Well on Linux, if you want to run a BBS, it would seem that JAM is the
msgbase to use, Mystic supports JAM and Squish, but Squish has same status as
JAM in Husky (MO), EleBBS also support JAM, MBSE support JAM.
Not many other BBS packages worth looking at currently, and no chance of
Squish for MBSE BBS. so I use JAM. :-((
