Thanks. There's an Emacs extension for Ada, that seems to be quite extensive, including syntax completion (you type the "if", the editor the "then ... end if") and syntax high-lighting. If I'm correct there would also be cross-reference capabilities, so you'd be able to click on a identifier and see where it's declared.
