No harm done in buying wild-caughts as breeders. My own pair
of cherry-heads is wild-caught. If your nandays are like my
cherry-heads, they probably will be happier as breeder birds than as
would-be pets anyway. The *only* potential problem with buying
wild-caught birds these days is making sure that they aren't really
smuggled birds, and that's kind of hard to do. I'm sure there are ways
to tell, but I'm not 'up' on them.
