Just to be "fair and balanced" I have to say since I started
buying from Dell for the company, I have been very pleased with them. 
Price and service for us have been mostly outstanding.

I had purchased a new mail server (you guys might remember the 64-bit
thread) and forgot to get a legacy PCI riser card for it...contacted them
and my rep sent one to me for free.  No muss, no fuss.

It may be that we are a corporate customer and therefore taken better care
of than a home buyer, but the sales and support I have received has been
what I expect, and that bar isn't all that low.

I'm afraid to buy IBM because I soon as I do they'll sell the division to
the North Koreans or someone , but I have kept my eye on HP at
least for servers.
