No I haven't, but I never count first albums :-).
OTOH, The first albums of Pink Floyd, Marillion, Alan Parsons Project and 
Jean Michel Jarre (my top four bands) are all very good. Although _The Piper 
at the Gates of Dawn_ (PF) isn't really my favourite, it is quite good.
And for Marillion: _Script_ is simply mega.
But I can imagine the first Yes album to be bad. Your point taken.
