Actually, I believe it was a drama. At least, it was a tender moment,
and not one done for laughs.
I also think that Teresa Brewer's kiss of James Garner on Laugh-In is
*one* of the most prominent early interracial kisses on American TV. It
was impromptu, but given that Laugh-In ofended everybody, sooner or
later, the censors let it through.
