JC> Who is "they", where are these camps, and what is the source for your
JC> information?
Chuck Harder her is on the AM radio 3 hrs a day.
CM> constitutional rights have been stolden away form us under
CM> the guise of taxes that amount to legal federal extortion .
JC>
JC> Taxes are NOT "extortion". They are a system put in place to pay the
JC> expenses of a government that I (and other U.S. citizens) have asked
JC> our elected representatives to put into place. Just like paying dues
JC> to belong to an organization like the Elks, the PTA or the Chamber of
JC> Commerce.
CM>
you've been brainwashed!
you may call it demoracy I call it slavery and people like
JC> America is not a democracy. It's a representative republic. (And
JC> wasn't "slavery" considered a "good" thing in the South once upon a
JC> time? A "good" enough institution to start a war over?
no now it's a socialist republic!
CM> you will be the jailers because you have been told people
CM> like me are criminals . ;-)
JC>
JC> In the eyes of the community, if you choose to avail yourself of the
JC> benefits of that community without paying your fair share of the
JC> expenses for those benefits, then, yes, you are a criminal in the eyes
JC> of the community. The community members don't _need_ to be _told_ you
JC> are a criminal by anyone.
I thank you, I pay my fair share.... but I dissagee and that makes
me bad because people have been tricked, fooled and brainwashed into
just the same lingo your using now. "fair share" the fair share
keeps going up and I'm getting little return . you may not be aware
but laws and serivices differ for state to state. I'm down here]
you not here.
JC> Now, just as in more ancient societies, anyone that doesn't want to
JC> obey the rules set down by the community has two choices. Either leave
JC> the community with which they are so unhappy or get themselves elected
JC> to be a representative of the people of that community and change the
JC> rules.
JC> If someone wants to abolish all taxes, they can either start their
JC> own country somewhere or get themselves established as a dictator and
JC> see how long their country lasts without collecting from the masses.
I don't want to abolish taxes just make them realistic......
JC>
JC> BTW, this "rule-making" business goes clear down to the family level.
JC> Presumably the adults have made some "rules" and the children are
JC> expected to obey them. Now there's dictatorship for you!!
JC> But, from the statements you have made, Charles, I presume there are
JC> no rules in your household. Everyone is "free" to do as they choose
JC> without fear of punishment.
you confussing issues here and that's not nice.....
you know what I mean like laws that say you must ware a seatbelt
etc. anti smoking in public (out doors) etc...
JC> In the meantime, U.S. citizens like me have chosen to have the
JC> elected representatives of our respective "communities" make the
JC> decisions.
JC> Jim
I voted every past election sence I frist registered , but my
taxes have never went down ever not once.
