So? BFD.  Most people don't throw away their cars every year or two and buy
new ones, why should they throw away their software investments?  If
they're still on Win95 and its working OK why change?  Other than
intentionally induced version checking incompatibilities, there's not much
that won't run on Win95 that runs on 98/ME.

Bits don't rot - they run as well today as they did on the day of release.
