I don't think so. From what he describes it only happens when =
starting to print from IE. From the description it doesn't sound as if =
it even gets to the point of printing, just enumerating printers. Since =
other apps can print fine it is not a static problem like just having a =
DLL installed.

It's probably a DLL hell problem. (IE may have updated a DLL the =
printer driver couldn't take.)

I still disagree. He stated that the print spooler process =
crashed. IE doesn't run in the print spooler process.

Since you already tried a driver change I'd agree -- something in =
IE must
have broke.
