The part marked with (*) are your puppet strings, mate.  It's a lie. 
Someone else besides Dole can beat Klinton.  In fact, _anybody_ can beat
Klinton if they get more votes.  If all the gunowners voted for the same
someone, besides the anti-gun Dole, they could beat Klinton/Dole in a
landslide.
There's absolutely nothing in the world to keep you from doing that, from
actually voting pro-gun for a change, except your puppet strings, above.
