Hi Bob

You got that right :-)

In a file called SCANLOCL.DAT in the root directory.
It has the format
Record
1 Number of File Entries in this file

2 Full path and Filename
3 Size of file in Bytes
4 Checksum of file

5 Full path and File name
6 Size
7 etc....

etc....

SCANLOCL.LOG records the history of each scan.
E.G
Number of files processed
Any differences since last scan
Any files added since last scan

Each drive is treated seperately and the bat knows which machine it is
running from. As one machine does not have a screen, the BAT will handle
this machine over the Lan from any other machine and then stores the info
in SLANFILE.DAT and SLANFILE.LOG This necessary as the Path for a file is
different when accessed over the LAN.

All files are System/Hidden but I handle that in the BAT.

Cheers
Niels Petersen
