Last time I checked (yesterday), if you don't have "C:\" specified

in your path, then it won't check the root dir if you aren't

already there.



I tend to keep my root dir clean (ish...). Utilities that I need to

call from anywhere are either put into c:\sys\utils, or given a

batchfile or alias. Root dir belongs to boot files.
