SW> Over here in England I'm picking up a signal in the middle of
SW> the aircraft band on 123.325 AM, Station identifies itself as Radio
SW> Deutch Nweller, at least thats how it sounds, broadcasting in English.
RM> This is probably Deutsch Welle, the German equivalent of the BBC.
--SNIP--
RM> If you had been using a big outdoor aerial, I would have said it is
RM> break- through from shortwave. In fact I think it is anyway. Possibly a
RM> SW frequency mixing with a nearby VHF frequency, giving a sproggie on
 RM> the airband. For instance:
 RM> DW on 15.00 Mhz
 RM> Pager on 138.00 Mhz
RM> Subtract one from the other = 123.00 Mhz
 SW> Any suggestions
A harmonic? Divide 123.325 by 8 and 15.4156 pops up.
