Hi John. JP> Do you know if there is a 'C/S programming with OS/2 Warp' in the JP> works? JP> JP> I doubt whether it would be significantly different, but it's always JP> re-assuring to have something which specifically mentions one's JP> current set up. John I haven't heard of one, but you're right, I doubt that it would be significantly different. The LAN Server 3.0 stuff could be updated to reflect version 4.0. The chapter on OS/2 2.1 could be updated to reflect Warp. Some mention of the Warp Connection version could be made, as well as comparisons to the still non-existent Windows '95 product. Actually, the more that I think of it, an update is probably in order. This book is an excellent resource for _anyone_ who either works with OS/2, or are considering programming any sort of a client/server solution in their organizations. Besides the obvious OS/2 slant, it is an excellent book. Also, for the non-programmers out there (but then why would you be reading this conference), consider the sister books "Client/Server Survival Guide", and "Client/Server Survival Guide with OS/2", both by the same authors.
