OOOO! That must have been entertaining!

The host company for my web-site managed to croak a server - which happened
to be where my web-site was located. Got a very appologetic message saying
that they would try and restore it from backups within a week.

I asked them to set me up on another, and let me know the address. I just
reloaded the site from my hard drive via ftp and was going again minutes
later. I have many copies of my site backed up on CD-ROMs as well.

Hard drives crash. Simple decarlative sentence. To relate it to photography,
a friend just lost two IBM Microdrives in two days. He has returned to using
only solid state CF cards.

larry!
