"The charset handling is still not perfect. Some applications (like
MsgEd) specify IBMPC as charset and add the (correct) charset aus
CODEPAGE kludge. So the messages are not displayed correctly. I
currently work on a patch in order to add code to parse the
CODEPAGE-kludge when detecting IBMPC as charset. It's not that hard."
