As I've managed to attract a lot of new users to Fidonet, thanks to the
JamNNTPd server I run since a couple of months ago, it has become obvious
that I must install some kind of filter, so that new users will not be
discouraged immediately from staying with us.

   The first thing I had to do was, of course, to make sure nothing from
that Homer Simpson relative, Phil, that suddenly emerged out of nowhere,
got imported into my news server. But apart from him (easily handled), I
think it would be nice if some of the rest of you in here, and everywhere
else in Fidonet, could refrain from all the usual bashings, insults,
&cetera -- at least if you have any hopes that Fidonet once again could
emerge as a serious alternative to the news groups on the 'net...

   What say all of you? Or, as they use to say on the 'net: RFC!
