Well cellular uses uhf radio waves which are like radar and can
be affected by what are called ducts formed by clourds and stuff.
Also high humidity can attenuate the signals a bit more than dry
air.  Interesting.
Just found a couple of places where my phone is picked up by
frontier cellular in Rochester NY or somewhere and I was still in
Canada and not really neat any u.s. cell sites.
Looks like my cellular company, Bell Cellular and Frontier need
to get a roam-free zone so they don't spend forever removing
roaming charges from bills.
