There are two or three such beasties floating around. One is called 
MALE_100.ZIP (or ZOO, ARJ, etc), another is called FEMALE (last version I 
think is 1.50) and another called LOGGER which has C source inside.
I use MALE:
    This archive should have included the following files:
    MALE.DOC  -  This is it you're reading 
    MALE.COM  -  The Executable Program
    MALE.ASM  -  The Complete Source Code
    WHAT IT DOES
    ------------
    This  program allows you to create your own Opus/BinkleyTerm compatable
    log entries and redirect the entry to a Log File of your choice.
    COMMAND LINE SYNTAX
    -------------------
    Usage:  MALE   [>>Log File]
A real snip looks like this in the batch file:
c:\bink\male # POST End: MR run >> c:\bink\system.log
The real log file looks like this:
# 31 Aug 17:08:30 POST End: SCANBLD run 
(ok.....so I grabbed a different snippet, you get the picture!!)
