DD> I'll avoid anything marked "burp-gun ammo".
GP> It's OK in all Glock pistols. Other brands must check with
GP> their manufacturer. This particular ammo was marked in
GP> Spanish or Portugese "sub-fusil," of some such, & it was
GP> marketed as sub-gun ammo. I was using it in UZI's & Texas
GP> MAC's . . . & it was pretty stout.
DD> For now I think I'll look into the Winchester Sivertip 115gr

Silvertip is pretty much obsolete now. It had fairly reliable expansion,
but tended to fragment into smaller peices. The new Remington Golden Saber
ammo is brass jacketed, much harder, so though the new bullet design is a
fairly reliable expander, the mushroomed bullet stays together in one
peice, so as to penetrate all the way through & out the other side (2 holes
to bleed from).
DD> What I would
DD> really like is some East German or German WWII ammo, however, to fill
DD> out the historical aspect.
That shouldn't be too hard to find. However, in today's political climate
it is good to stock away plenty of ball ammo (FMJ). The cheapest is
usually the Remington, Winchester or Federal military style ammo in the
generic-looking boxes. Should be $14/bx or a little more, especially if
you order it in the 500 rd cases. A couple or 4 spare mags wouldn't hurt
either, along with a good field holster.
... They sent only 1 Texas Ranger!? There's only 1 Riot, ain't there?
