It is a backup station/Development tool for the N64..  It allows you to 
backup your own carts (which is Legal) or some that you have borrowed or 
rented (illegal) to PC..  You can then either send thes files (roms) through 
PC Parralel port & play them without the original, or Burn them to CD & 
insert them into the Doctor 64's CD drive to load..
It is also used to write games & demos for the N64, but you'll have to know C 
or Assembler to do this..
