I dont quite understand what you are on about, but here goes.
If you want to use ACTUAL ANSI ESCAPE codes, then you will have to do it 
through PRINTF() functions. EG:
printf("\033[H");
The above statement will place the cursor in the top left of the screen.
printf("\033[ ? ");
The above statement will perform the ansi command ? which is a user ansi 
command, so replace it with whatever function you require.
You will need a list of ANSI escape codes for this process.
! BUT !
You can also do it a longwinded way using commands from CONIO.H.
These commands will NOT require you to have ANSI.SYS resident in memory, and 
you can do ALL of the commands in the ANSI escape codes.
EG :
textcolor(GREEN);
You will be used to this from PASCAL i guess. The above function changes the 
text colours to GREEN.
and there are other commands like GOTOXY for placing the cursor and so on.
