Hello Andrew!

AC>>> on Unix machines. At the moment, CDFS.IFS only supports the ISO
AC>>> 9660 filesystem, in other words DOS-style 8.3 filenames. When you
AC>>> think about it, this is a little silly.

I have a CD - FreeBSD which is in RockRidge format which has filenames
truncated to 8.3, although there are quite a few zero length files and a
number of empty directories. Maybe they completely different under Unix.

AC> What system does CDFS.IFS use, then?

No idea, sorry.

AC> Is it an OS/2-proprietary filesystem?
AC> It would be nice if it accepted the industry standard, from the

I don't think there is such a thing as ISO9660/FAT...

John
